Paris to host Abedini’s Persiannalite exhibit

TEHRAN -- French Galerie Anatome à Paris is collaborating in holding Reza Abedini’s poster exhibition called “Persiannalite” opening in May.
The exhibit will run from May 4 to July 3, but the official opening ceremony will be held on May 13.Abedini had previously held a few poster exhibits at the Anatome Gallery in Paris.
Born in 1967 in Tehran, Abedini is a world-renowned Iranian designer, who teachs graphic design at the University of Tehran.
Abedini is famous mainly for his modern Persian typography. He combines modern and traditional themes in his unique style.
He has won dozens of national and international design awards. In 2006, Abedini received the Netherlands’s Principal Prince Claus Award in recognition of his personal creativity in the production of special graphic designs.
He is a member of the Iranian Graphic Designers Society (IGDS) since 1997, and the prestigious Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) since 2001. Abedini has been a member of the jury at several biennials around the world.
